Zennovation in sedation – the next generation of alpha-2 agonists

The presentation will provide a review of canine sedation, particularly the physiology of alpha-2 receptors and the pharmacology of alpha-2 adrenoreceptor agonists and their reversal. It will also introduce the unique new alpha-2 combination product, Zenalpha, containing the alpha-2 agonist medetomidine and the peripherally selective alpha-2 antagonist vatinoxan.
