Vexit? The results of the RCVS exit survey (LVS25)

What do vets and nurses say when they choose to end their professional registrations? The RCVS Research Team will present the results of a survey sent to vets and vet nurses who chose to leave the Registers between September 2022 and the end of 2024. This survey is part of a growing body of evidence on the veterinary workforce which will help the professions plan for the future.

• To understand the destinations and attitudes of vets and vet nurses who choose to give up their RCVS registration.
• To build on findings from RCVS workforce modelling and improve knowledge of the veterinary workforces.
• To reflect on the descriptions veterinary professionals give of their veterinary careers and aspirations as they stop practising or leave the UK.
