Thoracic Radiograph Interpretation in the Coughing Patient (WWV 2024)

Although thoracic radiography is challenging, this lecture will provide an overview of normal anatomy as well as case examples of common disease processes to help provide the participant with an increase knowledge and level of comfort interpreting pulmonary and cardiac changes.

• Learn how to interpret thoracic radiographs
• Discuss and learn the 5 key disease processes that thoracic radiographs identify and how to differentiate them
• Learn how to interpret pleural fluid and look for musculoskeletal lesions as well as differentiating heart failure from inflammatory pulmonary disease
