Stem cells as an orthopaedic therapy: Past, present and future

The presentation will cover the development of autologous stem cells for the treatment of tendons and ligaments and joint disease, including techniques, challenges and limitations. The presentation will conclude with the most recent developments including the availability of allogenic cells which have the advantages of reduced costs and easier treatment methodology.
