Pre-, pro- and postbiotics are becoming increasingly commonplace with a lot of options available for our own use and now also in the equine veterinary field. A dazzling array of products are available, but what do we know about their efficacy and safety for use? This talk will discuss what is currently understood about pre-, pro- and postbiotics in the equine field, what we can advise our clients and what the future may hold.
