Optimal lesion detection of the pastern region

Imaging the pastern region is indicated for investigation of local physical examination abnormalities, after localisation of pain by diagnostic analgesia and as part of investigation of suspensory apparatus pathology. This talk focuses on conventional imaging of the pastern to get the most out of your radiographs and ultrasound with special emphasis on soft tissue anatomy and the recent literature on soft tissue injury in the pastern.
