Negotiation: How to Get What You Want at Work

Do you have a job or a career in your veterinary practice? For many, a job is a stepping stone, making it difficult to negotiate "wants". But when it's a career, the conversation changes. Do keep in mind however, negotiation is a two-way street. What are you willing to give to get a career in the practice? While it is worth being a self advocate and negotiating your needs, it is also critical that you are stepping up to the plate, and delivering the performance of a life time, every day.
