Navigating Recurrent Feline Cystitis (WWV 2024)

Feline idiopathic cystitis is one of the most frustrating diseases veterinarians manage. We will discuss our current understanding of the disease and review treatment strategies and options, as well as a few updates around urethral obstruction in male cats.

• The learner will describe the suspected alterations in the stress response system that contribute to FIC
• The learner will describe the types of stressors that can contribute to FIC
• The learner will describe the role diet plays in management of FIC
