Macule? Papule? Pustule? Plaque? How to Tell the Difference and Why it Matters

Accurately describing dermatologic lesions is extremely important for tracking a disease process and making an accurate diagnosis. Proper descriptions of lesions will be defined and discussed and related to common (and uncommon) dermatologic diseases. Attending clinicians will learn subtle differences between skin lesions and how this knowledge can be used to make better dermatologic diagnoses.
