Inflammatory bowel disease as cause of intestinal disturbances and weight loss

Equine inflammatory bowel diseases are a poorly defined but important group of conditions that can lead to weight loss and recurrent colic in the horse. This session will explore our current understanding of this condition, focusing on pathophysiology and utilising available diagnostic tests effectively. Treatment options and commonly encountered challenges will also be discussed.
