How to Find Joy in First Opinion Practice

This talk explores the options open to practitioners wishing to remain in first opinion practice whilst aiming to achieve personal development and job satisfaction over a whole career. The following will also be discussed: how to be true to yourself in a world of compromise, how to optimise your contribution to the delivery of affordable effective primary health care without having to damage yourself, how to identify where the joy is to be found in first opinion practice and learning how to appreciate it, and then use it to fuel a satisfying career.
