    Session Description:
    Abdominal organ biopsies are often needed to obtain a definitive diagnosis so a condition can be properly treated. Biopsies may also be indicated when an unexpected lesion is found during surgery for another reason. In this session, we'll discuss techniques designed to safely obtain adequate and appropriate tissue samples from the gastrointestinal tract, liver, spleen, and pancreas.
