Following a brief introduction of cancer and early cancer diagnosis in humans, this talk will be focusing on where we can make a difference as vets, by recognizing cancer early in dogs and cats. A case-based approach will be used to provide tips on medical history taking, physical examination and clinical pathology, including new advances in cancer diagnostics.
