Caregiver burden or not? Owners' perspectives on managing hyperthyroidism in their cat.

Caregiver burden is an emerging area of veterinary clinical research; commonly our perception of the owner experience does not match what is reported in owner based surveys. This lecture will review the owner's perspective in managing hyperthyroidism ranging from making choices for long term medication to experiences with radioactive iodine.
