Hypotension is one of the most common complications that can occur under anaesthesia with potentially major consequences. This lecture will discuss the definition and pathophysiology of hypotension as well as describing the different techniques of blood pressure management in both first opinion and referral practice. The lecture will also highlight the management and treatment of hypotension using both pharmacological and non-pharmacological intervention.
