Anaesthesia for the patient with renal disease

This session will focus on cats with chronic kidney disease. It will provide an overview of key renal physiology relevant to anaesthetizing patients with renal disease. It will then focus on protocols and their rationale for anaesthetizing patients with chronic kidney disease. 

• Understand renal physiology relevant to anaesthesia
• Understand the importance of the peri and post anaesthesia period in anaesthetising cats with CKD
