Anaesthesia check lists: Do they protect our feline patients under GA?

This session will look at the history of anaesthesia checklists in both human and veterinary care. It will explore the evidence base around both their current utilisation and value, with the goal of understanding if they have a valuable role in protecting our feline patients. 

•Understand the history of how and why check lists have been developed
•Explore the current literature for evidence to support (or not) their use in feline patients
•Share examples of anaesthesia checklists
