Service dogs, Emotional Assistance Animals and Therapy dogs are all very different classes of working dogs. Understanding the different tasks they provide and the rights they are afforded can help the veterinary team feel more comfortable and can help to increase one’s ability to advocate for the rights of service dogs and their handlers.
