Under Pressure: Uveitis and Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a multifactorial disease characterized by an elevation of intraocular pressure beyond that which is compatible with ocular health. Glaucoma may be secondary to uveitis (inflammation within the eye) or primary and cause secondary uveitis. How do you know when or if you should be concerned about concurrent diseases? What drugs are the safest to use when? Ocular pain and blindness results if/when the patient becomes refractory to management. Let's discuss strategies to save vision!
