The session takes a look at corneal ulcers from the perspective of the GP vet in practice. We look at some of the common “misconceptions” and pitfalls we see in general practice when diagnosing and treating corneal ulcers. It should highlight a few aspects we may not have considered and answer a few questions that we may not have even thought about when we the everyday ulcer!

- Understand and realise the importance of a diagnosis for the ulcer rather than having an ulcer as a diagnosis.
- Understand the logic and best practice at choosing appropriate treatment
