Talking about periods can be awkward. But with fifty-eight per cent of vets and ninety-seven per cent of RVNs identifying as female in the last RCVS survey, it's a topic that our profession needs to get comfortable with. Where periods may be a breeze for some, for others they can be linked to debilitating symptoms that can affect every aspect of life - including work.
