Hypercalcaemia in cats has been reportedly on the rise for a number of years and can be the result of multiple underlying aetiologies. This is certainly a clinical problem in which cats are not small dogs; the most common causes of hypercalcaemia are different and cats even have aetiologies all of their own! This session will focus on how high calcium needs to be before you should start to worry and what you can do to resolve it. We will review the underlying aetiologies and possible consequences of hypercalcaemia in cats, with the help of interesting clinical cases.
