    Session Description:
    Case based material will be used to discuss how peri-anesthetic laboratory analyte assessment and other diagnostic testing can guide management of the patient at all phases (pre, during, post) of anesthesia. Drug, monitoring and supportive care suggestions based on this information will also be included

    Understand how to apply diagnostic test results to improve peri-anesthetic management of dogs and cats
    Participants will learn to select appropriate support (e.g., fluid therapy) and monitoring  (e.g., blood pressure) tools
    Participants will have opportunity to select appropriate anesthetic and adjunctive (e.g., anti-emetic, analgesic) drugs
