Tips for Navigating Neuromuscular Disease in General Practice (WWV 2024)

Neuromuscular conditions can be challenging to identify and differentiate in clinical practice. This session aims to highlight some of the clinical findings and differences between neuromuscular conditions and discuss a practical approach to workup and therapy of these conditions.

• Describe the clinical signs of neuromuscular conditions and the difference from other neurological and orthopedic conditions
• Describe the differences between common neuromuscular conditions
• Develop a diagnostic plan based on clinical signs and important logistics of preparing and shipping diagnostic samples for neuromuscular conditions.
