This session will explore how veterinary teams can take meaningful steps towards continuous quality improvement (QI) by transforming insights into action. Using VetSafe incident reporting and learning as a foundation, the session will demonstrate how data gathered from clinical incidents and near misses can be harnessed to drive real, measurable improvements in patient safety, team wellbeing, and clinical outcomes.
- Participants will learn how to move beyond reporting and reflection, and into implementing impactful change—developing a proactive culture of continuous improvement that recognises the importance of taking a system-wide perspective.
- The session will include examples and inspiration from veterinary professionals who will share their experiences, challenges, and practical strategies for applying QI tools in everyday clinical settings.
- Whether you’re new to quality improvement or looking to enhance existing processes, this session will provide inspiration and actionable takeaways to help embed “QI thinking and doing” into the heart of your practice.
