    Local anesthetics are very powerful analgesics that can have both an immediate and potentially long-term effect on pain. The drugs are easy to use and most local blocks can be done in any practice. The attributes of local anesthetic drugs and blocks will be described and step-by-step video instruction of common incisional/wound and oral/dental procedures will be presented.
