The osteopathic approach to proprioception and the upper cervical spine

Subtle balance changes may impact on the performance of the horse.  In the absence of pathology,  a functional explanation may be appropriate.  This session looks at components of balance and the contribution made to these mechanisms by the musculoskeletal system and, in particular,  the upper cervical spine.  An approach to identifying and addressing changes in balance is described.
