The staging process varies depending the cancer type, and this session will provide you with up-to-date knowledge and practical tips on how to stage your cancer patients in order to provide a more personalised treatment plan and more accurate prognosis for each individual. The session will cover the routes and mechanisms of metastasis, why staging is so important, different methods of staging, the concept and importance of sentinel lymph nodes, and staging considerations for common cancer types.
