-The different processes involved in making a variety of pet food products.
-Similarities and differences between ‘processed’ concept in pet food vs. human food.
-The role of processing raw materials to be safely and effectively used in pet food from an environmental and sustainability perspective.
-An interactive and engaging session with participants asking questions and our panel of experts explaining the answers.
-Call to action, educational resources for vets and pet owners, and next steps.
Learning objectives:
-Understand the application of key processing methods in pet food and their role in producing safe, nutritionally complete, and balanced diets for pets.
-Understand the role of by-products and processing in an environmentally sustainable pet food production.
-Equip vets to address pet owners' questions on pet food and nutrition.
