Practical advice on managing obesity

David will review the fundamental diet and management changes that are central to tackling equine obesity. He will review the adjunctive use of pharmaceuticals and highlight some of the indications for their use, whilst demonstrating their limitations. The issues of compliance and strategies for changing human behaviour will be discussed.
