Not a copycat: Why cats are not small dogs when it comes to chronic pancreatic disease (LVS25)

Chronic pancreatitis is a condition which is frequently underdiagnosed in cats. Diagnosis can be challenging due to non-specific clinical signs. This talk will focus on the pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, diagnostic challenges and treatment options for chronic pancreatis in cats. Key difference between feline and canine chronic pancreatitis will be highlighted. This talk will enable attendees to have a stronger understanding of how to identify, diagnose and manage chronic pancreatitis effectively in feline patients.
