Emotional intelligence (EQ) is a set of interpersonal skills that has been shown to support individuals in discovering their strengths, as well as communicating well with other people. Veterinary professions who develop high levels of emotional agility are better prepared to tackle the challenges of their clinical work and remain resilient.
