Hot neuro nightmares – and how to get by on a budget (LVS25)

An overview of common neurological conditions which may present with a fever. This talk will cover multiple localizations including brain, spinal cord and the peripheral nervous system. Real case examples will be used to help facilitate the learning outcomes with an opportunity to ask questions at the end.

• Common neurological presentations with pyrexia.
• How to handle certain neurological cases if referral is not an option.
• What might mimic pyrexia in neurological cases and how to recognise it.
