Hypoglycaemia can present in a number of ways, including as an emergency. This talk will improve your confidence in managing the emergent hypoglycaemic dog, and develop your understanding of key differential diagnoses and optimum diagnostic strategy in these challenging cases. As insulinoma is one of the most common causes of hypoglycaemia in dogs, this talk will also explore the ideal diagnostic approach to canine insulinoma and discuss the most up-to-date treatment options. Overall, the talk will improve your confidence and competence managing hypoglycaemia and insulinoma in general practice.
