An overview of general concepts of the gut biome, the use of the dysbiosis index in evaluation of patients, and a summary of recommendations regarding FMT published by the Companion Animal FMT Consortium.

Goals:
Participants should learn about or review their knowledge of the gut biome and understand how to utilize the dysbiosis index in evaluating patients.  Participants should understand the process and utilization of fecal microbiome transplantation with patients in clinical practice.
