Endocrine overload: Practical strategies for managing PPID, EMS and the grey zone in between (LVS25)

Endocrine disease in horses is complex and difficult for owners to management. Our job is to support them to optimise welfare and improve quality of life but also to make difficult decisions. We will discuss the nitty gritty of obesity, EMS and PPID management encompassing all aspects of the animal and owner experience.

• Appreciate how to balance management and welfare particularly in the context of weight loss
• Understand how to evaluate your management regimes and adjust them for optimal owner compliance.
