Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) has long been one of the most challenging feline diseases, but recent advancements in diagnostics and treatment have dramatically shifted outcomes. This session provides a practical roadmap for veterinary professionals to recognize evolving demographics and clinical signs of FIP, distinguish it from other common feline diseases, and apply current diagnostic strategies in everyday practice. Attendees will explore the use of compounded GS-441524 and Molnupiravir, including when to consider a therapeutic trial, and how to navigate treatment urgency across different FIP presentations. Real-world case studies will highlight decision-making in action and underscore the importance of office stock for timely intervention. Complex and rapidly evolving literature will be distilled into clear, clinically relevant takeaways designed to simplify application in daily practice.
