In this interactive session, we will discuss practical strategies that veterinary professionals can use to communicate effectively and compassionately when delivering bad news. We will review different methods of delivering information to clients and discuss the SPIKES method, a proven approach for effective communication. Through interactive cases, attendees will learn how to incorporate these strategies into their clinical practice and improve their communication skills with pet owners.
