Buying a new endoscope can be a stressful undertaking. The equipment is expensive and there is a huge choice of systems available. Choosing an endoscope that will suit your needs and your budget requires an understanding of how an endoscope works and what it will ultimately be used for in your practice. This aim of this lecture is to provide you with some guidance when buying your first endoscope so that you spend your money wisely.
