Are you missing them? Ureteral obstructions in cats – causes, consequences and diagnostics (LVS25)

Ureteral obstructions in cats appear to be on the increase and can be life-threatening. Unilateral obstructions are easy to miss because cats may not even be azotaemic, but even if cats present with azotaemia, this can easily be misinterpreted as advanced CKD. In this lecture we will discuss which cats are at most risk for forming upper urinary tract stones and for developing ureteral obstruction, and how we can identify cats with ureteral obstruction in clinical practice.
