Oral disease is exceedingly common, creating significant pain and/or infection. However there are rarely any clinical signs. Thus, proper diagnosis and therapy often comes late in the disease. This lecture will discuss the most common diseases affecting dogs and cats as well as proper diagnosis and treatment options. Topics include: retained deciduous teeth, fractured teeth. malocclusios, tooth resorption, caudal stomatitis, and neoplasia.
