Diagnosing intestinal parasites through faecal analysis and interpretation of results can be challenging. This is particularly true for Giardia where many cats and dogs are subclinical carriers and the significance of positive animals can be difficult to assess. This presentation will consider the different diagnostic options for faecal analysis, when screening healthy pets is beneficial and how to interpret positive (and negative results)
