A practical approach to when and how to perform distal limb blocks (both regional and intrasynovial), including the foot, pastern, fetlock and digital sheath regions. In addition, different approaches to various blocks will be provided as well as, importantly, interpretation of each block.
- To describe how to perform different distal limb blocks safely in the horse, including different approaches
- To have a clear understanding of how to interpret each individual block
- To be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of certain distal limb blocks
