In this 50 minute, live, interactive lecture, Dr. Sara E. Gonzalez, DVM, MS, DABVP (Canine and Feline Practice) will review key features of canine influenza and make sure your patients don't go viral! Following a discussion of the prevalence of the various pathogens implicated in canine infectious respiratory disease complex (CIRDC), the audience will delve deeper into the pathogenesis of Canine Influenza Virus (CIV). Key concepts regarding RNA particle vaccine technology will presented, with an emphasis on its use in the prevention of CIV.
