This complex joint can present a clinical challenge. Ultrasound in combination with radiography provides in-depth knowledge of stifle pathology and together with blocking can predict arthroscopic findings accurately. Learn some alternative techniques for injecting the compartments of the stifle including getting the most out of your ultrasound machine. Contrast-enhanced ultrasound can be used easily in the field to confirm the accuracy of your injections ensuring interpretation of blocks is based on accurate injections.
