The responsible use of parasiticides in pets is a true One Health issue that the veterinary profession is currently grappling with. So this year BVA has partnered with MSD to explore it from every angle. In this session, our panel of experts will consider the human, animal, and environmental impacts of parasiticide use, misuse, and non-use in small animal practice. We will explore what the evidence tells us, where the research gaps are, and how veterinary teams should weigh up the competing risks. Through debate, the session will equip delegates with practical ideas for understanding and evaluating the risks and giving the right advice for clients and their pets.
