Reflux and regurgitation are common complications of routine anaesthesia. Clinical sequelae include oesophagitis, post-operative pain, oesophageal strictures, laryngospasm and aspiration pneumonia.
- This presentation will look at how to identify, prevent and manage reflux and regurgitation in general practice anaesthesia.
